TEAM MIDNIGHT PERFORMANCE ENTERS
5TH ANNUAL NASA 25 HOURS OF THUNDERHILL
Proceeds Raised By Championship Team Will Benefit
The American Brain Tumor Association
Team Midnight Performance today announced that
its #79 Acura Integra, sponsored by Midnight
Performance, H.A.P. Recycling and ROTA Wheels,
will race in the 5th Annual NASA 25 Hours Of
Thunderhill, which will take place at Thunderhill
Raceway Park in Willows, California on December
1, 2007. Team Midnight Performance will combine
this event with a fundraiser to benefit the American
Brain Tumor Association.
Team Midnight Performance will take on the ultracompetitive
E2 class comprised of Mazda, BMW and other Honda racecars. The 25 Hours of Thunderhill
will be Team Midnight Performances inaugural race at a national-level competition, and will be led by team
founders Tommy Lo, Paul Ko and John Hu, all of whom are experienced, long-distance drivers. Most
recently, the team claimed season championship in the 2006 Northern California Honda Challenge Series.
In 2004, the team earned a remarkable second place overall win in the NASA Endurance Championship,
with John Hu as their crew chief.
Participating in the 25 Hours of Thunderhill carries special significance to our team
said Lo.
We have
chosen to support the American Brain Tumor Association by raising money for this important cause. My
mother is a brain tumor survivor and her perseverance and fighting spirit inspired our team to organize this
fundraiser.
Sponsors who donate more than $25 will have their names displayed on the hood of the #79 racecar.
We
hope to completely fill our entire hood space to symbolize our collective effort as we race for a cure
added Lo.
25 Hours of Thunderhill is one of the longest endurance races on the planet
said Ko.
We are confident
that our knowledge and experience in car preparation and pit strategy will give us a competitive
advantage. We have been friends and teammates for over seven years
said Hu.
Our team has been racing in the
NASA endurance and sprint races with much success for the past three years. Our goal is to build on our
recent successes and leverage our skills and expertise to form a highly competitive, world class team.

On June 2-3 2007 the Midnight Performance sponsored NASA cars hit Thunderhill with decent results.
- The black Integra took 2nd place
- The silver Integra took 4th place since VTEC wasn't kicking in (we'll get this fixed for the next race.)
We have two Midnight Performance sponsored Honda / Acura road race cars that compete in the NASA Honda Challenge. In our first year out the Midnight Performance sponsored 4 door Integra took first place in the H4 class. Check out the 2006 NASA results.

Past Events
We will be racing our 700hp Honda Civic Hatchback (EG) in the Street Class at the IDRC West Coast Nationals in Palmdale. This will be the last race ever at LACR in Palmdale.
We didn't have enough time to finish tuning our new fuel setup which resulted in very bad times in LA. Put it this way, we didn't hit 10s as we usually do.
We will be racing our 700hp Honda Civic Hatchback (EG) in the Street Class at CMI. This race will be held at the Sacramento Raceway as usual.
More fuel problems as we hit 11.2s in Sacramento on Sunday. Back to back racing from LA to Sacramento is very tiring. We're still peeling all the way down the dragstrip - need to fix these two problems to get back into the 10s.
We will be hosting Dyno Dayz for Team Sauce. There will be entertainment, food, and of course the car show. $60 for 3 dyno runs (no tuning.) Register
